Unlike most modern high-rise establishments in Beijing, this unusual hotel has traditional Chinese charm. The Beijing Bamboo garden hotel was an oasis in the noise and heat of Beijing. It is on a quiet back-road among the 'hutongs'. The staff was very helpful. The Standard Suite(King-size Bed) room was very comfortable, large, no smoke odors. the restaurant has a wide selection. After walking in crowded Beijing it was wonderful to return to the silent and beautiful chinese garden just outside the hotel room. we will certainly recommend this hotel to friends going to China. 

We already recommended this Beijing Bamboo garden hotel to friends who live in Beijing - for their visitors. Be sure to print out and carry the address written in Chinese to give to the taxi driver. From this location we could easily walk to the subway, walk to and around the vibrant lake area. Tours arranged at the front desk and a fabulous foot massage in the hotel spa were great! 
Nightlife Tip : Lake area alive and beautiful at night. 
Restaurant Tip : Great Hot-Pot restaurant on main drag near very hotel. Do not remember the name of restaurant.
